The Sapphire Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race that is open to thoroughbreds aged three years or older. It is contested over a distance of 5 furlongs (1200 metres) and is held annually at Curragh Racecourse in Ireland on the same day as the world famous Irish Derby.
